This typography experiment investigates the idea of meaning through context. Centered on the word Encroachment, the project draws on research to uncover its layered interpretations and translate them into a visual narrative.

Through the manipulation of letterforms, textures, and graphic elements, the experiment examines how visual context reshapes meaning. Typography functions not only as language, but as an active structure—capable of amplifying, distorting, or reframing interpretation beyond the limits of a dictionary definition.

Each poster operates as an independent experimental field, defined by its own visual environment. Although the same word appears throughout, its meaning shifts across compositions, allowing Encroachment to assume distinct roles and narratives shaped by context.
