MUJI is grounded in a highly rational approach to manufacturing, producing objects that are concise yet never reductive. Its design language favors clarity and restraint over superficial minimalism, reflecting a philosophy rooted in universality and human experience.

This annual report redesign translates MUJI’s core values into an editorial system centered on practicality and simplicity. Through a clear information hierarchy and deliberate visual emphasis, dense infographics and data tables are reorganized into an accessible and reader-friendly structure. The result is a calm and effortless reading experience—one that allows complex information to be absorbed with ease while remaining aligned with MUJI’s understated design ethos.
